A new trail has been blazed in the Shelby Wetlands.  This team established a nature trail complete with trail markers and designated viewing areas.  They repeatedly walked the wetlands area, taking measurements and recording compass directions to create a trail map for visitors. 

In addition, they identified and researched specific plants, added educational signs describing the plants' significance to the wetlands, and created educational materials for youth leaders and teachers.  At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the team gave guided tours of the nature trail.
