A group in Tannersville, NY is involved in a Black bear education project to limit potentially hazardous encounters between bears and humans in their resort community. They are creating educational pamphlets that contain suggestions about dealing with bears which will be distributed to visitors and local businesses about the bear population and how they can help protect them. |
