The Turtle Talks team in Charlotte County, Florida, is working with the Adopt-A-Shore program to clean up a section of the Intercoastal Waterway, where they go wake skating. The team participated on Coastal Clean Up Day, Sept. 15th, and continues to pull out floating trash, tires, and derelict crab traps whenever they're on the water. One member, Zander Srodes, is up for a Volvo for Life Award (www.volvoforlifeawards.com). |
